وُلد العرض من سلسلة محادثات شخصية بين ثلاثة فنانين مصريين يتأملون في واقع صناعة الأداء الفني في مصر اليوم.
بين الطرافة والبوح العاطفي، يناقش العرض التمثلات الاستشراقية المعاصرة، التحديات الثقافية، وأعباء البقاء الفني في ظل الرأسمالية. ما يبدأ كمحاولة للفهم والتفسير، يتحول تدريجيًا إلى مقاطعة—كوسيلة للاحتجاج، والحميمية، والمقاومة الإبداعية.

3 Interrupted is a bold experimental performance that fuses physical theatre, raw dialogue, and choreographed disruption.
Born from intimate conversations between three Egyptian artists, the piece reflects on the realities of performance-making in Egypt today—amid cultural expectations, economic pressures, and the invisible labor of survival under capitalism.
Both humorous and vulnerable, the work dismantles para-Orientalist narratives and confronts the politics of cultural translation. Ultimately, interruption becomes a tool: for protest, connection, and artistic resistance.
